When using Tags, 'M-.' searches for a particular Tag. The standard emacs mapping jumping back to where you searched for a Tag is 'M-*'. It is normally bound to 'pop-tag-mark' See "Findag a Tag' in emacs docs.

It would be nice if verilog mode could use a different key chord for inserting a multiline comment instead of trampling that standard chord.

Perhaps 'C-M-*' could be used instead which is not bound to anything AFAIK in emacs.

Thanks

Thanks for the report.

Verilog-mode should only be using C-C prefixes to avoid this sort of problem, so I moved it to C-c/

Fixed in git 31ca5a9.
