Do you have plan to use CMake to replace current autoconf build script? And pre-compile the CPP files into library?

Unlikely, as there are many many alternative make systems, and think the old traditional system is the best for portability, at least for the time being.

That said if making some other sort of output file or recipe would ease CMake (without removing autoconf/make), feel free to provide patches.
