I found four instances of "the the" in the --help and have repaired them here:

However, I have a question about `verilator_config. This (repaired) text appears twice in the --help:

     `verilator_config
         Take remaining text up to the next `verilog mode switch and treat it
         as Verilator configuration commands.


It's under both the CONFIGURATION FILES and LANGUAGE EXTENSIONS sections. However, the CONFIGURATION FILES section does not define `verilog. So I'm wondering if this is actually correct for that section or if it should read something like:

     `verilator_config
         Must precede any Verilator configuration commands.

Yes, it should be as you suggest. Also please add `verilog if absent.

Push at will (any doc cleanup ever ;)
